Iggy Azalea announced that she is stepping back from music for a few years after her album ‘End Of An Era’ drops sometime next month.
The rapper also mentioned that she will be working on “special projects” after her upcoming tour that she is hugely excited about. She claims it will show her fans different sides of her that they’ve never seen.
In a series of tweets, she explains her vision for her future and why ‘End Of An Era’ is so special to her.
‘End Of An Era’ will be Iggy’s third studio album. Although her new video for the single “I Am The Stripclub” off of the project was met with backlash, she insists she wasn’t “blackfishing.” The lighting and filming in a dim room were the reasons for her skin tone seeming to look darker than usual, she explained in a tweet.
Fans of the Aussie rapper have a lot to look forward to in the future. With a new album, tour, and creative projects to come, it’s much more in store for them to support.
