On Wednesday, ESPN announced that Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka could face punishment for his involvement in a consensual intimate relationship with a woman who works for the team.
According to reports, a decision on the duration of the suspension could be made as soon as Thursday since the relationship was deemed to be against the organization’s rules.
The Celtics could suffer if Udoka received a lengthy suspension since they believed they had chosen their coach for the present and the future.
According to ESPN, Joe Mazzulla, a Celtics assistant, would be a strong candidate to take over as interim coach.
