Ink Master star Daniel Silva has been booked on vehicular murder charges following a car crash that claimed the life of 25-year-old Youtuber Corey La Barrie.
According to TMZ, on Sunday, authorities responded to the scene of an accident in Los Angeles. There, they discovered the two men in a wrecked McLaren sports car, which had crashed into a street sign and tree. It is believed that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed with Silva behind the wheel. He suffered a broken hip while La Barrie, on the other hand, succumbed to his injuries. The fatal wreck occurred on La Barrie’s 25th birthday, just a short time after the two were celebrating together at La Barrie’s birthday. Witnesses told police that Silva had been drinking at the party.
Silva has since been booked on murder charges while still in the hospital.
La Barrie amassed a large following on YouTube for his prank videos, while Silva was a tattoo artist who competed on Ink Master, where he came in seventh place. He also appeared on the Ink Master: Angels spinoff. Earlier this year, he started his own YouTube channel, showcasing his tattoo designs and interviewing with fellow artists.
