Instagram Reportedly Taking A Page Out of Myspace’s Book: Are Profile Songs Really Coming to Accounts?

Instagram might be taking us back to our Myspace days.

Remember adding your favorite song to your page? Tech leaker Alessandro Paluzzi tweeted that Instagram plans to allow users to add a song to their profiles, similar to the ’00s Myspace era.

The selected song will reportedly appear at the bottom of your bio, underneath the bio links. When adding a song, the user will visit the edit profile, then a music option will show up. Users will reportedly be able to select a song of their choice and add a caption.

Paluzzi shared the information accompanied by screenshots of how the feature will appear once it’s released.

While there’s no official word on the reported new update, would you be here for profile songs?
