iPhones with TikTok Installed Listed for Thousands on eBay, Some Asking Over $1 Million After Brief Ban

Some iPhone users who never deleted TikTok during its brief U.S. ban are trying to cash in.

With the app still missing from the Apple App Store, some are listing their phones on eBay for thousands and as much as $1M

However, it’s unclear if these high-priced listings are actually selling. Out of the 2,000 phones being auctioned on eBay, most don’t have active bids. The phones that do have offers are older iPhone models going for  $100 to $200.

TikTok continues to work without issues for users who still have the app installed. However, those who deleted it or never downloaded it before the ban are out of luck, as the app is still unavailable on the Apple and Google app stores in the U.S.

The ban, initially delayed by an executive order from Donald Trump, left millions of users in limbo.
