An $80 million bounty has been placed on Donald Trump’s head after Trump warned that any strike on American interests would bring massive retaliation.
Iranians donated $1 each in order, which was organized by the funeral procession for General Qassem Soleimani.
Early Sunday morning, the Iraqi parliament voted to have U.S. troops removed from the country. The vote will “obligate the government to work toward ending presence of all foreign troops on Iraqi soil,” the country’s media office stated.
Tensions continue to rise after the Soleimani’s death in which Iranian MP Abolfazl Abutorabi has threatened to retaliate on American soil.
“We can attack the White House itself, we can respond to them on the American soil. We have the power, and God willing we will respond in an appropriate time,’ Abutorabi said, according to the Iranian Labour News Agency.
Abutorabi continued by stating that ‘this is a declaration of war, which means if you hesitate you lose. When someone declares war do you want to respond to the bullets with flowers? They will shoot you in the head,’ he added.
Threats have been made just days after Soleimani was killed by a drone strike on Friday at Bagdad airport. He was the architect of Tehran’s overseas clandestine and military operations as head of the Revolutionary Guards’ Quds Force.
