An Iranian man has beat a Guinness World Record after placing and balancing 85 spoons on his body all at once.
How many spoons can you place on your body at once? Well, 50-year-old Abolfazl Saber Mokhtari in Karaj has set a new record, and it’s been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Mokhtari says he’s been balancing spoons on his body since he was a child, UPI reports.
“I accidentally noticed this talent of mine when I was a kid,” Mokhtari explained to Guinness World Records. He added, after “multiple years of practice and effort, I was able to strengthen my talent and develop it to where it is now.”
The previous holder of the record is Marcos Ruiz Ceballos of Spain, who set a record with 64 spoons. Mokhtari says he’s able to stick just about anything to his body. “Anything, I mean it, any object. Anything that has a surface I can stick to my body, such as plastic, glass, fruit, stone, wood and even a fully grown human,” he said.
The record-breaker says his talents are all about focus. “I focus on whatever I am trying to stick to my body, making me capable of transferring my energy and power to them,” he said, UPI reports.
