Is it ever O.K to cheat on your boyfriend or girlfriend? What about your husband or wife? Cheating in the dating world has becoming a little bit too common for my taste and it seems like its the O.K thing to do under “some circumstances.”
In my personal opinion, I never found a “good” reason to cheat, but after doing some research, I’ve found that these are the top reasons for that “pass to cheat” on your significant other.
1. Celebrity Crushes
We all have that celebrity crush that we fantasize about that if we just had 10 minutes alone in a room we would get to doing you know what with a little you guessed it on the side. Don’t lie, we all have these dreams, but is a one night stand with your celebrity crush an excuse to cheat on your significant other? One may say its a once in a life time chance and others will say that you don’t have self control. All I’m going to say is why throw away your relationship with someone knows you for a little hanky panky with someone who probably doesn’t remember your name?
2. They cheated on you so here’s your pay back.
Say bae cheated on you early in your relationship and you’re just now finding out several months or years later. Is it okay to have a little pay back or even the score with a one night stand of your own? I’m the queen of petty, but this is past my level. Do what you want to do ladies and gentlemen, but pay back cheating never turns out pretty.
3.Vacation
Oh you’re on vacation in Puerto Rico, cheat on your man girl, he will never find out. Is cheating on your significant other okay if there is no possible way they will find out OK? Personally, I wouldn’t trust it. Is that one night stand with someone you met on a nude beach worth word traveling by carrier pigeon  back to your bae worth it? It is possible, don’t doubt it. Vacation is for fun, yes I agree, but keep your hands to yourself and remember what you have waiting for you at home.
These and many other excuses, yes I call them excuses, are what people are using now to get away of cheating in their relationship, but is this really the norm to do now or are we just making excuses? My personal opinion is this: Dump them if you want to cheat. I can’t think of one GOOD reason to cheat on your significant other. Now weigh in, is it ever OK to cheat?
