On a recent episode of Fox Nation’s ‘Nuff Said,” former #GreysAnatomy star,  #IsaiahWashington, revealed why he decided to leave the Democratic party and shared his support of the #WalkAway campaign, a movement urging people to “walk away from the divisive tenets endorsed and mandated by the Democratic Party of today.”

“Walking away is… a sacrifice,” Washington said. “There’s a risk, and there’s a penalty for it, but you have to walk away when it matters…and the reason I chose to walk away from the Democratic party…is that something doesn’t feel right.”

Washington also told Fox Nation’s ‘Nuff Said’ that Hollywood’s liberal culture has closeted many conservatives in the entertainment industry.

The 56-year-old actor blamed the Democrats for “not doing enough” and pointed to the lack of action for the black community as an example- reiterating a similar statement he made about Barack Obama. Despite voting for Barack Obama “twice,” the actor claimed he received no “support regarding Africa or the Black Agenda” from Obama and his administration, while Trump took the initiative to invite him to the White House to celebrate the ‘First Step Act.’

Now, Washington is denying being a Republican, and it looks like he’s been yearning for the world’s attention. He took to Twitter Thursday to share a video saying,  “I don’t know who I’m voting for… you got to earn my vote. I’m not a Republican, I’m not a Democrat, if you look it up, I’m with the Green party… but I’m not even feeling them either; we didn’t have candidates. But now that I’ve got your attention since I have all this power, why don’t we talk something that I think the American people are most interested in. I think the American people, including myself, we don’t want censorship; we want to be heard.”

Washington added, “45 is Tweeting a storm, not getting certain messages out. No one’s doing the proper messaging.”

Washington was infamously fired from the hit show Grey’s Anatomy in 2007 after he allegedly used a homophobic slur while arguing on set with a co-star.
