UCLA football star Ishmael Adams will now be known for more than just being one of the best cornerbacks after being arrested Sunday for allegedly stealing an Uber driver’s cell phone.
According to reports, Adams stole a cellphone from an Uber driver by using force. Currently Adams is being held on a $100,000 bond after UCLA police took him into custody. He is due to appear in court tomorrow. No charges have officially been filed.
“We are aware of the situation and continue to gather information. As this is a pending legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time” said a UCLA spokesman.
I’m pretty sure further detail will emerge after he appears in court. Either way this isn’t going to be good for career.
