Issa Rae believes that she may be able to bring a few fanbases together with her HBO series, “Rap Sh!t.”

The actor and show creator, alongside producer Syreeta Singleton, recently sat down with Entertainment Tonight, where they expressed their excitement about season two of the popular series. When ET correspondent Denny Directo inquired about who the ladies would like to bring on for the new season, Rae knew exactly who she wanted to appear.

“There’s a list. We want Meg, we want Cardi. Nicki would be a nice little tie-around if we could, like, unite them,” Rae shared. “Maybe in season three, we can unite the fanbases.” Singleton called the prospective episode a “Ladies’ Night” style event.

Multiple female rappers have lent their talents to the show in various ways. KaMillion stars in the series, with artists such as Tokyo Jetz, Dreezy, Sexyy Red, Kali, and more appearing on the season one and two soundtracks.

Fans online went up for the idea, though it may not be ideal. With Cardi and Meg being good friends, getting them to film together could be an easy feat. However, Nicki may be less open to appearing on the show, considering her history with both of her fellow rappers.

The ladies have not responded to the proposal, but with season two of “Rap Sh!t” debuting this week, it’ll be exciting to see which additional artists will be involved in the show.
