Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are planning on trading in Washington D.C.’s bureaucracy for the beautiful Miami shoreline.
Page Six is reporting that the couple purchased Lot 4 on Indian Creek Island for $31.8 million. Nicknamed “Billionaire Bunker,” the island is one of the most secure in Florida. The island has a 13-man police force for only 29 residences, the outlet reports.
The lot, which belonged to Julio Iglesias, boasts 200 feet of private waterfront. The taxes on the property are a whopping $472,764 a year. The couple is set to close on December 17.
They will be close to Kushner’s brother Joshua and his wife Karlie Kloss, who bought a $22 million house in Miami. The residence is just over an hour away from Ivanka’s father’s Mar-a-Lago golf course.
The two plan to keep their Park Avenue apartment in New York City and are currently expanding their residence at the Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster.
