Iyanla Vanzant is opening up about her hit television series, “Iyanla Fix My Life.” The prolific life coach gained popularity over the years for her unique methods of mending broken relationships and bringing families back together. While she loved the work that she achieved, Vanzant says cyberbullying from viewers made the series “exhausting” after a while.

During her recent interview with Tamron Hall, the 68-year-old revealed that hateful emails and social media comments made her feel as if the critics were infiltrating her home, therefore interrupting her peace.

“I was getting death threats because they didn’t like something I said or did. And I’m like, I want to be free of this. I don’t want this,” she shared.

The best-selling author also explained that people would overstep their boundaries by finding her personal telephone number and calling her asking for help. Vanzant even said people called her phone at two ‘o’clock in the morning asking to be a part of her show.

Vanzant announced earlier this year that she was ending the series for good that has seen appearances from DMX, Evelyn Lozada, LisaRaye, and Mickey “Memphitz” Wright over the years.
