J. Cole shook things up this week, announcing that the fifth Dreamville Fest, happening April 5-6 at Raleigh’s Dorothea Dix Park, will be the last one.
“What a ride it’s been… We can’t thank y’all enough for all the memories we’ve shared,” Cole wrote on Dreamville’s Instagram. “From the very beginning, the idea behind the fest was creating a place where our fans, the Dreamville community, could spend time together… Let’s run it back one more time in April!”
The announcement has fans buzzing about what’s next for Cole.
With his recent moves—dropping mixtapes on DSPs, hosting a surprise podcast, his sold-out MSG show, and now ending Dreamville Fest—many are speculating this could signal retirement.
