Ja Rule is kicking off the new year by reigniting his long-standing feud with 50 Cent. The 48-year-old rapper, known for his decade-spanning beef with Fifty, took to social media after a critical review of 50 Cent’s Las Vegas residency caught his attention.
Jennifer Gay, a Vegas influencer, shared her disappointment in his recent show. In an Instagram video review, Gay called it “the worst show that’s ever come to Vegas.” She cited poor sound quality, overpowering hype men, a lack of engagement, and a brief 84-minute performance as reasons for her dissatisfaction.
“It really felt like he didn’t want to be there,” Gay said, noting the high ticket prices and Fifty’s abrupt departure from the stage without thanking the audience. She contrasted the experience with a past performance she saw “decades ago,” which she described as “pure magic.”
The review quickly spread to social media, where Ja Rule couldn’t resist chiming in. Sharing the critique on X (formerly Twitter), Ja Rule mocked, “Not the worst… 😂🤣😭 #ICONN.” The rapper, who has a history of trolling 50 Cent, also engaged with fans in the comments, further fueling the banter.
While 50 Cent has yet to respond, it’s clear Ja Rule is enjoying his self-declared “petty” New Year’s resolution he announced days ago.
