Jacksonville Jaguars’ Marcell Dareus Says The Woman Who Accused Him Of Giving Her Herpes May Have Had Other Partners

Back in July, Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Marcell Dareus was accused of “knowingly transmitting a sexually transmitted disease to a partner.”

In a lawsuit obtained by The NY Post, Jane Doe said she went on a date with Dareus in July and the two spent the night in a hotel. However, she said she woke up with no recollection of the night before until Dareus told her they had sex. Over the next two days, the two had consensual sex, but he never disclosed his STD to the woman, who was diagnosed with herpes.

But now, in an attempt to get the entire case dismissed, Dareus is accusing the woman, who claimed he gave her herpes, of sleeping around.

In new court docs obtained by the Blast, Dareus says the unidentified woman has contradicted her story about the night in question. He also says the woman has not shown any proof that he even had herpes or knew he had any alleged STD.

”Plaintiff’s allegations, memory, and timeline only give rise to how many partners she had sex with before and after her memory lapses,” the docs said.

As a result, Dareus wants the entire case was thrown out and the woman to cover his attorney fees.
