Jacquees Reveals Meaning Behind His Son Snow’s Name [Video]

Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders welcomed their son, Snow, in August, and now the singer is breaking down the meaning behind his name.

During the Mina Say What podcast, Jacquees shared that his son’s full name, Snow Jacquees Sanders-Broadnax, honors his grandmother, Ms. Dasie Snow.

“My grandmother—that’s her maiden name. Her last name, so my mom and everyone was Snow’s,” he explained.

He went on to say, “My grandmother was a big staple in the East Atlanta community. She was a big part of our family legacy. I had to make sure my grandmother lived on.”

For Jacquees, naming his son Snow wasn’t just sentimental—it was about keeping his family’s legacy alive. “My son is going to be the next one in charge,” he said.
