On Thursday night, R&B singer Jaheim set off social media when he debuted his new curly coif for the world to see. Unfortunately, the new hair do wasn’t received well by most, and it led to the “Just In Case” singer being the butt of social media jokes for over 12 hours straight.
Jaheim took to social media to defend himself, firing off crude tweets towards “haters” of his hair. Considering the amount of attention he got overnight,it was without question that the singer was going to end up the subject of The Breakfast Club’s Donkey of the Day the following morning.
Charlamagne issued Jaheim the “Donkey” title for the day, which did not sit well with him. He took to Instagram and Twitter to hurl threats at the morning show host, saying things like, “I’m a make you piss blood pussy I’m a break your rib cage,” and “Nothing or no one can save you. I’ma beat you the color purple I’ma come to your work place you have to see me.”

#Jaheim wants you to stop hating on his hair
At one point, Jaheim started comparing himself to Prince, which left fans confused. I wasn’t sure if he was referring to iconic status, choice of hair, or the love of the color purple. Peep those tweets below:
This wouldn’t be the first time Jaheim has been slandered on social media. You may recall the time he arrived to Whitney Houston’s funeral in 2012, wearing a bright purple suit and he was turned away only to have his own makeshift photoshoot outside. That was a pretty epic day in social media comedy as well.
If Jaheim had some new music to drop, this would be the perfect day to promote it.
