Well this is a great way to give back to your community. Jalen Rose has launched his own school, The Jalen Rose Leadership Academy which has filled it’s first 9th Grade class for the fall. The Detroit school will be a little different from most schools in the area. He’s added nearly a month of extra school days, an hour extra each day and the ratio of students to teachers is 20:1. It definitely seems like he’s doing this as a way to better the children and not just to have his name on a building or for great publicity. Kudos to you Mr. Rose!
