Jam Master Jay’s Sons Launch Cannabis Line In Honor Of Late Father

Sons of the late Run-DMC deejay Jam Master Jay are introducing a marijuana line in honor of their father.

TJ and Jesse Mizell have launched Queens OG, a line of four pre-rolled joints in cassette tape packaging. The brothers told Page Six that their father’s love for marijuana inspired them to enter the cannabis business.

Jesse explained that since Run-DMC was the first rap group on MTV, they couldn’t speak openly about their love for weed without facing repercussions. However, the brothers believe that if their father was alive today, he would be involved in the marijuana industry.

Queens OG will debut in Colorado and California on April 20th.

Jam Master Jay, born Jason William Mizell, was gunned down in 2002 inside of a Jamaica, Queens, New York music studio. In August 2020, Karl Jordan and Ronald Washington were charged for his murder.
