Jamie Foxx is the latest celebrity to be hit with allegations of assault and sexual misconduct. In this case, a woman has accused the singer of slapping her with his penis more than 15 years ago in Vegas. Although the statute of limitations, which is three years in Nevada, has run its course, Foxx is determined to clear his name of the accusation in his legal rebuttal.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to TMZ, the alleged incident occurred in Las Vegas back in 2002, but the woman only reported it to police last week. In her report, she said she and a friend were at a party at Foxx’s home when he propositioned her for oral sex. But, when she refused, she said the singer slapped her in the face with his penis.
Almost immediately after, the woman said one of Foxx’s friend’s kicked her out of the house. As a result of the incident, she said she suffered a severe panic attack, which she got treated for the following day. Although Vegas Police have opened a case into the incident, Foxx says it never happened.

“Jamie emphatically denies that this incident ever occurred, and he will be filing a report with the Las Vegas Police Department against the woman for filing a false police report against him,” Allison Hart, Jamie’s lawyer, told TMZ. “The first time [Jamie] became aware of this woman’s absurd claims about an incident that supposedly occurred 16 years ago was when TMZ contacted his representatives [Tuesday] about this story.”

“The alleged incident was not reported to law enforcement in 2002, or at any other time in the last 16 years until last Friday because the incident never happened,” she continued. However, the accuser says she was recently inspired to come forward by the #MeToo movement.
