Jamie Foxx continues to bounce back after his health scare several months ago.
The “Ray” star expressed his gratitude in a reflective Instagram post on Thursday. The actor has been spotted out several times yachting and bowling and is slowly getting back to work. These could be indicators that he is getting better, or as Foxx put it, “finally startin’ to feel like myself.”
“It’s been an unexpected dark journey, but I can see the light. I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers. I have a lot of people to thank,” he wrote in his IG caption.Â
Foxx also wrote that he’d be thanking several people personally for how they rallied around him during his time of need. Foxx has not yet revealed what took place in April that led to his hospitalization. However, in his first IG video since the emergency, he thanked his family for keeping his condition out of the media, despite reports alluding to him having a stroke.Â
Even in his continued road to recovery, Foxx has endured some controversy after an Instagram post was mistaken for antisemitic. Aside from his apology for the misunderstanding, Foxx has been primarily quiet online with the exception of a tribute post to late friend Clarence Avant. He could be busy trying to win back ex-girlfriend Katie Holmes, as several outlets have reported. Or, the award-winning entertainer may have grown annoyed with the world questioning his medical matters. Either way, this week’s photo showing a cool and relaxed Foxx is welcome among his concerned fans.Â
