A woman identified as Jane Doe is accusing Chris Brown of harassment in the wake of her lawsuit over a 2017 sexual assault she claims occurred at his L.A. home.
In legal docs obtained by The Blast, Doe is asking a judge to allow her to inspect the singer’s L.A. mansion for evidence to help build her case, in which she claims she was raped by Brown’s friend, Lowell Grissom Jr. In addition to permission to search and inspect the premises, Doe is also asking for a protective order to prevent Brown from recording her while inside his home.
According to the publication, in response to Doe’s request, Brown demanded he be able to videotape the woman while she gathers her evidence, saying, “We want to make sure the home is protected, and our client is protected. Your client has already made false accusations against Mr. Brown, so we want to simply videotape the premises and inspection as it is being conducted to make sure your client doesn’t make up further false allegations against Mr. Brown.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But, in Doe’s rebuttal, she claimed Brown’s request was nothing more than an attempt to “harass and intimidate” her while inside his home. So, she wants a judge to allow her inspection, and to ban Brown from recording while she’s on site.
In the meantime, the two are in a legal battle over Doe’s sexual assault suit, in which she details an alleged rape that went down at Brown’s home after a night at 1 Oak in L.A. According to Doe, she and her friend went back to Brown’s house for an after-party, where she met Brown’s friend, Grissom.
She said upon arrival, their phones were taken away before Brown allegedly offered his guests “cocaine, ‘Molly,’ and marijuana.” According to Doe, the party ended up in one of the bedrooms, where Brown instructed Grissom to “push a couch in front of the bedroom door” to prevent anyone from leaving. She said Brown put porn on the television to “create a hyper-sexualized” environment before he undressed and began interacting with the women in the room.
From there, Doe said another woman grabbed her by the throat, sat on her face and forced her to perform oral sex on her, while the woman was on her period. During that time, Doe said Grissom also forced himself on her, multiple times.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to Doe, her worried mother then tracked her phone and phoned officials. Upon arrival though, Doe said Brown and his crew denied police entry and hid firearms before she was able to be released. However, as soon as she left, she said she went to a rape treatment center and then reported the incident to police.
In turn, Brown denied the allegations and highlighted the fact that Doe’s allegations had nothing to do with him, as he was not named in the violent complaint.
