Jane Fonda appeared virtually on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday where she opens up about her famous sex life — or lack thereof.
When asked by guest host Tiffany Haddish, “I need to know because you look so good, are you still having sex? Are you having, like, crazy sex?”
It turns, out that the Hollywood icon, 82, isn’t having much sex at all.
“No, no, zero. I don’t have time. I’m old and I’ve had so much of it,” she continued. “I don’t need it right now because I’m too busy!”
In discussing her lackluster sex life, she also revealed which of her famous ex-husband’s is her favorite.
“My favorite ex-husband Ted Turner, he always said, if you wait too long it grows over,” Fonda joked. “I think he’s right.”
Fonda married Turner in 1991 and the two divorced in 2001. The actress was previously married to Roger Vadim, whom she wed in 1965 and had daughter Vanessa Vadim with, before divorcing in 1973. She then wed Tom Heyden in 1973 and the two had son Troy Garity before divorcing in 1990.
During the interview, she also revealed one of her regrets: not sleeping with Marvin Gaye.
“I was married to Tom Heyden and he was running for the U.S. Senate and I met with a lot of musicians asking if they would do concerts to support his campaign,” Fonda explains. “So Marvin asked to meet with me and so I did, in a bar.”
“It was clear it could’ve happened if I wanted but I was married.”
Haddish jokes that she is a good woman because she “probably wouldn’t have been as good.”
