After Janoris Jenkins brother, William, was named a “person of interest” in the mysterious dead body case, the ex-convict has been charged with aggravated manslaughter in the death of family friend, Roosevelt Rene.
According to TMZ, William was taken into custody on Tuesday on an unrelated parole warrant violation, just nine hours before the body was found. At the time, William was named a “person of interest” and extradited to Bergen County, NJ to speak with officials.
However, after further investigation, officials revealed that they found enough evidence to connect William to Rene’s death. Although prosecutors maintain that the charges are “merely accusations,” adding that he is “presumed innocent,” the brother of the NFL star could still face 10 to 30 years in prison, if convicted.
