Jay Leno is reportedly being treated for severe burns after a car in his garage caught fire.
TMZ reported Monday that the former Tonight Show host, 72, is currently being treated at the burn ward at Grossman Burn Center for burns to his face.
The avid car collector was visiting the LA garage where he stores most of his cars when one of them erupted into flames without warning, burning the left side of his face. Thankfully, it did not affect his eye or ear, sources told the outlet.
Leno was scheduled to perform at a financial conference in Las Vegas but organizers revealed he canceled due “serious medical emergency.”
“His family was not able to provide us very many details, but there was a very serious medical emergency that is preventing Jay from traveling,” the email stated. “All we know is that he is alive, so our prayers go out to him and his family tonight,” the email read.
