Jay-Z joined legendary icons during the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame over the weekend.
During his acceptance speech, HOV name-dropped several celebrities and gave thanks to them for their contributions to his success. Amongst the list of figures, HOV even gave a shout-out to Dame Dash.
“Shout out to Dame, I know we don’t see eye to eye, but I can never erase your accomplishments. And I appreciate you, and I thank you for that.”
Now you, if you are not aware of the history between the two, Dame & HOV, were the founders of Rock-A-Fella Records. However, the label crumbled because of issues between the two.
Over the years, the two have mentioned one another briefly at times, but nevertheless, Jay showed his appreciation and still gave Dame his flowers.
The ceremony is scheduled to air on HBO and HBO Max on November 20.
