Jayda Cheaves says she’s not interested in placing a “bandaid” over her issues with Lil Baby.
The beauty influencer sat down with Jason Lee for Hollywood Unlocked, where she dished on how social media caused “tension” that led to the breakdown of the relationship.
“Like, yeah, he do love me, I’mma say, but as far as the internet, like I always say, we’re comin’ up together. He learning stuff he never even seen before about social media and all that, and I’m seeing things way different than I saw them before as I get older,” she told Lee, who advocated for the couple to rekindle their romance.
The Waydamin creator says that there has been a lot of damage done, likely referencing several instances of cheating allegations that hit the blogs in recent months.
“As far as right now, I just feel like it’s so much damage that has been done publicly to just put a bandaid over something and say ‘okay, let’s just get back together.’ Like, no.”
Though she would not elaborate on any specific instance, she did say that some of the infidelity allegations “weren’t really allegations.”
This is the second time that the entrepreneur has addressed the status of her relationship with the platinum-selling rapper. During a recent IG Live session, she shared that people often “just outgrow each other.”
Lil Baby has not publicly commented on the relationship with Cheaves aside from tweeting that he was single.
