Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has inked a new deal with Kanye West’s Donda Sports.
The news was announced this week, though the 25-year-old made his decision to sign with Donda in March after West attended the Warriors vs. Celtics game. Shortly after, Brown was spotted rocking a Donda Sports hoodie.
West reportedly had his eyes on Brown after learning about his immense amount of charity work. Brown founded his 7uice Foundation, which helps underserved children receive a quality education. He was also honored with the NBA Community Assist Award in 2020 for using his status to fight for social justice and racial equality. He donated valuable resources to many causes during that tense year.

Additionally, the “Jesus Walks” rapper and Yeezy sneaker mogul also felt that Brown was the right choice because he is a God-fearing man, like himself.
At this time, the specifics of Brown’s deal have not been revealed, but clothing and sneaker-centered endorsements are expected.
Ye continues to build his lucrative sports empire. On Monday, Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald announced that he’d also signed with Donda Sports, with talks of a Yeezy cleat deal already floating around.
