Jeezy is pushing back against his estranged wife, Jeannie Mai, alleging she’s trying to tarnish his image because he refused to have a second child with her. The rapper has filed new legal documents in their divorce case, defending himself against Jeannie’s allegations of recklessness and abuse, including claims of physical violence.
In the new documents, obtained by TMZ, Jeezy denies these allegations, questioning why Jeannie would want another child with him if he was truly dangerous and abusive. According to Jeezy, Jeannie was eager for another child, but when he refused, she retaliated.
Jeezy alleges that after he drafted divorce papers in June, Jeannie sought IVF specialists to conceive another child, despite his opposition. He also claims that Jeannie may have spent thousands of dollars in the process. Jeezy further asserts that Jeannie is volatile and violent, suggesting she’s used to more docile partners.
Jeezy also expresses frustration over being excluded from parenting time with their young daughter, claiming he only saw her for one day in April.
The couple’s divorce is becoming intense, with both parties publicly airing their issues. Hopefully, they can find a way to co-parent amicably.
