YouTube personality and cosmetic entrepreneur Jeffree Star has been hospitalized following a severe car accident in Wyoming.
On Friday morning, Star’s Rolls Royce veered off an icy road in the Casper area. The vehicle overturned, injuring Star and his friend Daniel Lucas, who was the only passenger in the car. Both were rushed to Wyoming Medical Center.
In a photo posted to Star’s Instagram story, he is seen lying in a hospital bed wearing a neck brace, with Lucas sitting beside him, holding his hand. In another post to his story, Star revealed that part of his back is broken, and he has vertebrae fractures on his spine. He says that Lucas also experienced complications with his organs following the crash due to a previous cancer diagnosis.
It is unclear if alcohol or speed played a role in the wreck, which Star’s called one of the scariest moments of his life.
