Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein once had scathing hot takes about former pal Donald Trump, including his handling of friendships.
In tapes obtained by “The Daily Beast,” Epstein describes his close bond with Trump, offering lurid details of their friendship and Trump’s behavior, which Epstein claimed included “cuckolding his best friends.” Epstein, who once mingled with the elite, boasted of his proximity to the real estate mogul, even alleging, “the first time he slept with her was on my plane,” in reference to Trump’s wife, Melania. He called his association with Trump a “friendship of 10 years” where they frequented New York and Atlantic City together, seeking women.
Recorded in 2017 by author Michael Wolff for his book, “Fire and Fury,” these tapes highlight Epstein’s view of Trump as “charming” but devoid of genuine kindness. He suggested that Trump’s salesmanship was unparalleled but noted his serial infidelities and temper. Epstein claimed Trump’s only true loyalty was to his daughter Ivanka, his secretary Rhona Graff, and his bodyguard. He also recounted Trump’s alleged seduction tactics, claiming that he would manipulate situations to sleep with friends’ wives by eavesdropping on private conversations.
“He’s a horrible human being,” Epstein remarked, stating that Trump would lure women by gaining their trust, only to betray it.
Epstein also alleged that Trump’s notorious “Lolita Express” trips, shared interest in young women, and parties with figures like Bill Clinton and Bill Gates were elements of his long-time social circuit. Trump’s team dismissed these claims as “false smears” aimed at influencing the election. They called Wolff’s recordings “outlandish lies,” suggesting Trump had distanced himself from Epstein years prior, including allegedly banning him from Mar-a-Lago.
The recordings underscore Epstein’s contempt for Trump’s moral compass, painting him as both socially manipulative and “functionally illiterate.” Despite occasional praise for Trump’s political stance on “transgender issues” and law enforcement, Epstein ultimately characterized Trump as a “friendless man” whose perceived charm masked deep flaws, asserting that “the moral compass just does not exist.”
