Fortnite will air an in-game showing of ‘We The People’ on July 4 to discuss institutionalized racism in media, culture and entertainment, The Verge reported.
Fortnite introduced CNN’s Van Jones as the host and announced the special guests on the program. Set to appear are journalists Jemele Hill and Elaine Welteroth, and artists Killer Mike and Lil Baby. The group will address racism in America.
The viewing of ‘We The People’ will start at 9:46 a.m. and will re-air multiple times throughout the day.
To watch the program, launch Fortnite Saturday morning and select Battle Royale game mode. After entering the Party Royale playlist, go to the Island’s Big Screen, The Verge instructed.
Fortnite’s showing of the program is a fun way for millions of players to stay informed and aware of the civil injustices of minority races in America.
The company’s Party Royale first launched in April as a violent-free social space to host virtual concerts, movies and discussions.
