The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, Jen Shah, is no longer sitting with the man in charge at Bravo network to discuss everything regarding her prison sentence.
On Thursday, Shah posted on Instagram about the recent change.
“I will not be doing the 1:1 with Andy Cohen and Bravo,” the convicted housewife said. The change is because of the network’s alleged “unwillingness to remove contractual provisions.”
“This specific 1 on 1 interview was not part of my RHOSLC reality tv contract. I promised myself and my loving family that I would not allow this portion of my life to be sensationalized or inaccurately conveyed,” the post continued.
Shah was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison by a federal judge on Jan.6. She is expected to report to the court in February.
The disgraced housewife, 49, believes the interview will misrepresent herself.
“Too many people have been hurt by actions and my inability to control my own narrative. I would rather remain silent and wait until I am able to accurately share my story than continue having complete lies and misrepresentations about me smeared across the headlines.”
The comment section on the post is turned off.
Shah had starred on RHOSLC since 2020, being an original cast member when the show premiered. After showing off a very luxurious lifestyle, in season two, Shah was arrested on camera for her doings in a telemarketing scheme and wire fraud.
Since her arrest, she maintained her innocence until finally pleading guilty in July 2022. The reality star was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison and will be ordered to undergo mental healthcare and drug test.
