Since appearing on “The Real” to discuss her lawsuit against Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, Jennifer Hough says she’s been getting disturbing hateful comments.
Hough’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, says his client is receiving a rush of disturbing threats via DM.
TMZ obtained some of those disturbing DMs, containing inflammatory remarks, someone wishing her death, and a disturbing tweet in which someone posted her personal contact information.
Jennifer said in her ‘The Real’ interview that she’s had to live her life in constant fear for years, change her phone number, move, and quit jobs all because of her connection to Petty.
Blackburn says the frightening response from Nicki’s fans confirms what Jennifer said in her interview.
Jennifer was the victim of Petty’s 1995 first-degree attempted rape conviction in New York, which is why he has to register as a sex offender.
Petty was charged with failing to register in California and recently accepted a plea agreement.
In August, Nicki and Kenneth were sued by Hough for allegedly harassing her and threatening her not to speak about the assault.
However, on a more positive note, Blackburn claims that Jennifer’s TV appearance has motivated other women to share their own stories and have contacted her to express their support.
