Late last year, we learned that Jennifer Hudson and her ex-fiancé David Otunga were calling it quits after a ten-year relationship.
Hudson’s reps released a statement to PEOPLE, explaining that the two had actually been on the rocks for a while, and she had also “requested and received” a protective order against Otunga for “the best interest” of their 8-year-old son, David Daniel Otunga Jr.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, Otunga Sr. believes that Hudson’s protective order was only filed to stop him from getting primary custody, and he is also accusing her of violating the rules of the gag order.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to The @blast, Otunga alleged that Hudson’s statement to PEOPLE was a violation that damaged his reputation, and he says that it was upsetting having to be “forcefully removed” from their home right in front of the child.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The court order prohibited each parent from releasing any further photos and/or comments about their son, but, apparently, Hudson failed to adhere. As a result, Otunga wants Hudson to be found in civil contempt of court, sanctioned for her actions, and the gag order dropped since Hudson could not follow.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It is said that he also wants her to pay his legal fees.
