Ellen DeGeneres’ producing team will be stepping in to produce Jennifer Hudson’s new upcoming talk show.
The new EGOT star just got her own show, and the producing team that led DeGeneres’ show will be doing the same for Hudson’s. In addition to being the show’s host, Hudson will also be the program’s executive producer, alongside Connelly Lassner and Palent.
“I’ve worked with Mary, Andy and Corey across multiple shows for the past nine years, and I’m thrilled that we’re able to keep them in the family because they are truly the best in the business,” said Mike Darnell, president of Warner Bros, Variety reports. Unscripted Television. “With Jennifer’s incredible talents, and the addition of Lisa, Graehme, Walter and Shani to the producing team, I know this show is going to be fantastic and I’m excited for what’s to come.”
Hudon’s show lives on the Warner Bros. Lot and has already been cleared in 95 percent of the country, nearing national syndication, which is set for this fall. The show will air for the first time on Sept. 12, Hudson’s birthday.
The final episode of Ellen aired in May after 19 seasons on air.
