The NFL has suspended Former NY Jets LB, Jermaine Cunningham, Â 6 weeks for violating New Jersey’s revenge porn law. What is revenge porn? Basically it makes it illegal to post someone’s nudes online.
Back in June Cunningham was sentenced to three years probation and anger management counseling after posting sexually revealing photos of his ex-girlfriend on Instagram without her consent. The photos were posted in December 2014.  Cunningham also plead guilty to  invasion of privacy, illegal transport of a weapon and possession of hollow-point bullets from a domestic dispute incident in December, in which he was arrested at his apartment. Â
Being suspended six weeks by the NFL won’t be too bad for Cunningham. He’s currently a free agent and hasn’t played a game since 2013.Â
There are revenge porn laws in 23 states in America. Don’t get caught slipping.
