Jermaine Dupri announced his #SoSoDef record label is going on a 25th Anniversary Cultural Curren$y tour.

On Monday, the media mogul told the Associated Press the old gang is back for a tour that will visit 11 cities. The tour includes musical acts from #Xscape, #DaBrat, #JaggedEdge, #BowWow, #AnthonyHamilton, #BoneCrusher, #Youngbloodz, #DemFranchizeBoyz and #JKwon.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The label will start in Washington D.C. and end in Los Angeles. There will also be a special show in Atlanta in honor of Dupri’s hometown. Aside from celebrating the label’s 25th anniversary, Dupri wants his audience to enjoy, and remember the influence his artists had on hip-hop and R&B. “I feel like with my artists and even myself, people don’t pay enough attention to how much we mean to the culture and how much So So Def meant to breaking the South and making people pay attention to Atlanta,” said Dupri.

Dupri launched So So Def when he was only a teen. He later went on to develop several artists and created a unique sound that influenced Southern hip-hop during the 1990s. Dupri has many awards, including a 2005 Grammy as a songwriter on Mariah Carey’s hit single “We Belong Together.” Because of his many talents he was inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in June.

The 25th Anniversary So So Def Tour, which Dupri calls a “blessing,” kicks off on Oct. 14.
