Jesse Williams and his ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee are embroiled in a nasty court battle over their kids, with her now seeking primary custody.
According to court documents, Drake-Lee accuses the former “Grey’s Anatomy” star of not following their co-parenting plan. She says that her former spouse is not transparent about his work schedule and often gives very little notice when he has to cancel his designated “custodial time.” Drake-Lee claims that Williams calls her names and uses threatening language when she makes plans following the cancellations. She claims that his “erratic behavior” now causes her to fear for her and the children’s safety.
Drake-Lee and Williams’s current custody agreement states that they have joint legal and physical custody of their kids. However, following the alleged inconsistencies, Drake-Lee is seeking full primary guardianship of their children, Maceo and Sadie. The real estate broker also wants a judge to require that Williams provide a detailed schedule for future film projects.
The former couple was together for 13 years and married for five years. Drake-Lee filed for divorce in 2017, which was finalized in 2020.
Williams has not yet responded to these new claims.
