Former “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams got a huge reduction in his monthly child support payments following his exit from the show.
Court documents obtained from TMZ show The actor paid $40,000 per month for his children with ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee. The court has “temporarily modified” the payments to $6,413 per month.
Williams requested that his monthly payments be reduced after he went from TV to Broadway, claiming it profoundly affected him. He told the court he was currently earning $1,668 per week on Broadway with the production “Take Me Out.”
Jesse and his ex-wife reached a child custody agreement at the end of February. The judge denied Lee’s request to reduce his physical time with the kids.
Once Jesse’s shows come to an end in the summer, the two will be back in court to deal with the other issues in their case.
