Jesse Williams Granted Joint Physical Custody of Children After Longstanding Custody Battle

After a longstanding legal battle between #JesseWilliams and his ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee over the custody of their kids, the two have officially settled their dispute.

In court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the two were granted joint physical custody of their children, as well as joint legal custody. The former couple has also agreed to a specific custodial schedule to work around Williams’ work schedule, and major holidays.

Williams will get custody of his four-year-old, Sadie, and his 2-year-old, Maceo, every other weekend, two days each week, and Father’s Day.

But, when it comes to their communication in regard to the kids, the two will be forced to “communicate exclusively through OurFamilyWizard,” which, according to PEOPLE, is a website used to enable communication between the two parties without conflict. However, in case of an emergency, the former couple, who split last April after five years of marriage, will be allowed to communicate via phone or text.
