Model Jessica White has penned a touching love letter to her ex-boyfriend, Nick Cannon, detailing their nearly decades-long relationship.
On Tuesday, White shared a photo from the Wild N’ Out set alongside Cannon. In her “book,” as she called the lengthy IG caption, the 38-year-old shared how the comedian both hurt her and offered her love she’d never felt before. But before getting into their intense history, White began her letter with an apology for being on the current season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”
“I know you’re upset about the show, but after eight years, I can’t stand when things catch you off guard, and I feel like you deserve way more respect as a man even though I may be more respectful than you ever gave me With public announcements,” White wrote.

White’s apology arrives just one day after she shared the trailer for the upcoming season that featured her in it. She wrote then that she wouldn’t be able to tell her story “without mentioning him.” This revelation seemingly did not sit well with Cannon, though he has not commented publicly, prompting White to speak out instead.
“I wanted it to work, prayed every day that you’d see me and love me the way that I loved you. Maybe you did, but just kept it from me during the relationship. I walked away with more questions than anything,” White added.
Last month, Cannon spoke with Jason Lee, where he took full accountability for the relationship’s demise. In 2020, White suffered a miscarriage shortly before Brittany Bell announced she was expecting her second child with Cannon. Around that time, White decided to break things off with the actor. In her heartfelt IG note, White admitted that she felt Cannon placed the other women in his life “on a pedestal,” which left her broken.
White will offer a glimpse into their romance on the premiere of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Tuesday, June 13th.
