Baller Alert Entertainment & Lifestyle On February 22, the 51st annual NAACP Image Awards will kick off in Pasadena, California, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Airing on B.E.T., the awards show, which celebrates the accomplishments and contributions of people of color in their respective fields of tv, music, literature, and film, will be hosted by Anthony Anderson.
The star-studded event will feature appearances by Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx, Janelle Monae, Tiffany Haddish, and more, with special performances by Jill Scott and H.E.R.
If that wasn’t enough, the award show will also honor the music and fashion icon, and multimillionaire businesswoman, Rihanna, with the President’s Award, while Congressman and civil rights leader John Lewis will be honored with the NAACP Chairman’s Award.
