Jim Jones is making it clear that his relationship with Cam’ron was strained long before their recent public fallouts.

During his recent chat with Ebro’s Apple Music “Rap Life Radio” show, Jones reflected on the tension, which has played out on social media for weeks.
“I don’t want people to think I’m going back and forth, I’m just telling my truth. In terms of me telling my truth, people feel they need to have a rebuttal… let them do it,” Jones explained. “People know this is not a battle at all.”
When asked if he still sees Cam as a brother, Jones dismissed the idea completely, despite their lengthy history together.
“Nah, it’s definitely no brotherhood,” he said. “The brotherhood been over damn near since [The Diplomats]. That was where the brotherhood was at.”
Ebro then asked if they could repair their relationship. To fans’ dismay, Jones stated that was not possible.
“Not right now. Not something I could foresee, but who knows,” the “Love and Hip-Hop” alum replied. “Right now, it’s about me. I ain’t got time to focus on nothing else and no one else.”
Their latest clash came when Jones suggested he’d box Cam for $10 million. The tension escalated on “The Breakfast Club,” where Charlamagne tha God pointed out Cam’s claim that Jones “sends people to jail.”
Jones fired back, calling Cam a “bird head.”
“He don’t want no smoke,” Jones added. “I’ll box his head off. Where’s the ring at? … $10 million right now. Today n***a. I’ll catch a flight wherever you at.”
Cam has stated that Jones was willing to do their Verzuz battle for free. This followed Jones accusing him of gaining opportunities from Verzuz that he didn’t share with his former Dipset groupmate.
