Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour looks have been one for the books, and the Queen has not spared any expense on her breathtaking stage looks.
British Vogue broke down the brands responsible for Bey’s impeccable looks, and it’s no wonder each performance has been a masterclass in opulence. Her jewelry collaborator Tiffany & Co. has been named the tour’s official jeweler, and they have delivered. One stand-out piece is their one-of-kind pair of diamond-encrusted in-ear monitors, worn exclusively by Bey with 4.5 carats worth of diamonds. They also laced the “Alien Superstar” with blinged-out “Renaissance” dangle earrings that she wore during her London stop.
Jimmy Choo has also lent their expertise to the Renaissance World Tour, revealing to British Vogue that they’ve designed 41 pairs of custom shoes for the Grammy-award winner. Each shoe was uniquely crafted with not only aesthetics in mind but also the extensive choreography throughout the three-hour show. The unique footwear features corset-style boning to keep her feet in place, while each heel height and width were carefully considered to ensure the Queen is sturdy during her stunning routines.
“It’s fashion based, but I had to think about the functionality of it,” explained Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo’s Creative Director.
Mugler has also assisted in the costume creations. They are the fashion house responsible for Bey’s amazing bee-armor costume famously worn during the live rendition of “America Has a Problem.”
With the international concert projected to bring in up to $2.1 billion, it’s clear that Mrs. Knowles-Carter can afford such elaborate threads for the record-breaking trek.
