JLo Opens Up About Feeling Like An ‘Outsider’ In Hollywood

Jennifer Lopez opened up about her insecurities in Hollywood, admitting she sometimes feels like an “outsider.”

JLO Beauty posted a video on Instagram featuring the singer talking about her products. It was posted for Sephora’s “We Belong” campaign to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

During the video, she says, “I think for me, I know it is important for all of us to feel like we belong.”

She continues, “Ummm … and like most people, there’s so many times in your life when you feel like an outsider, I feel like that in Hollywood sometimes.”

The star, who has a decades-long career in music and movies, says, “But the truth is, you just need your little tribe.

JLo is decked out in a form-fitting yellow dress with a keyhole cut-out for the video. She goes on to the way to feel truly beautiful is to “accept yourself fully for who you are.”

“We Belong to Something Beautiful @Sephora,” the video is captioned. “‘Latinas are fearless and powerful, and they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.'”
