“Queen & Slim” Actress Jodie Turner-Smith Files For Divorce From Joshua Jackson

Jodie Turner-Smith has started the process of ending her marriage with Joshua Jackson.

The 37-year-old “Queen & Slim” actress has submitted divorce papers to the Los Angeles Superior Court to end her marriage of over three years with Jackson.

Jackson and Turner-Smith got married in late 2019 and celebrated the birth of their first child in April 2020. In her divorce filing, Turner-Smith has requested joint custody of their child, with both parents sharing equal responsibility, according to a source.

The news comes after the couple was seen together on September 9th, celebrating Turner-Smith’s 37th birthday in New York City. Additionally, the couple was recently spotted attending New York Fashion Week and participating in the launch of the Lotus Emeya electric vehicle in September. However, it’s worth noting that Turner-Smith attended last week’s Albie Awards, hosted by George Clooney, on her own.

Turner-Smith revealed that their initial meeting took place at Usher’s 40th birthday celebration in 2018. Speculation about their impending wedding arose in August 2019 when they were seen obtaining a marriage license in Beverly Hills, California. Nevertheless, reports confirmed that the couple indeed exchanged vows in December 2019.
