After months of speculation and rumors, Vice President Joe Biden has announced that he will not be running for President in 2016.
The current Vice President of the United States admitted that he had been contemplating on the decision for months, but that personal events have taken the forefront. Biden specifically acknowledged the loss of his son, and the toll that it has taken on his family. “Beau was our inspiration,” Mr. Biden stated. “Unfortunately, I believe we are out of time.” VPOTUS said of his som, Beau Biden, who lost his battle with brain cancer in May. In a speech at his late son’s wake, Mr. Biden spoke on the memory of Beau in his final days hoping that his father would run for President.
According to Mr. Biden, he simply believes his campaign team are “out of time, the time necessary to mount a winning campaign for the nomination.” Mr. Biden did leave off with a few words of warning. “While I will not be a candidate, I will not be silent.” resident
