Joe Budden faces backlash after expressing his dislike for K-Pop group BTS.
Following BTS’s Grammys performance, Joe decided to give his opinion on the musical group. On Wednesday’s episode of “The Joe Budden Podcast,” he took an unprovoked shot at the Korean group.
“I hate them BTS n*ggas,” Joe said. When the other hosts on the show asked for his reason, Budden responded, “Do I need a reason? I hate them n*ggas. I hate ’em. I don’t have to divulge my reason to but I just hate them n*ggas. I don’t want to hear that sh*t, I don’t want to see you come down from the sky in a little umbrella.”
Budden continues to defend his opinion and mistakenly says the BTS is from China while referring to them as a knockoff version of the 90’s pop group N’SYNC.
“I know they big and I know it’s China but I don’t want to see it,” Budden adds. “I don’t want to see Korean-SYNC.”
Of course, Budden’s statement didn’t sit well with the BTS fans who flocked to his Twitter account to refer to some of BTS tracks that he should listen to.
